Project Team

The project team consists of experienced teachers of media studies, scholars in European studies, media researches, and philologists, journalists-practitioners, who will jointly teach the course "European Media Values and Standards" and implement other activities under the project.

Victor Kostiuk

PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, Dean of the Journalism Faculty, teaches the module Media Culture in the European Society.

Research interests: journalism education, media education, media culture, Chornobyl journalism.

Pavlo Miroshnychenko

PhD in Philology, Associate Professor of the Journalism Chair, teaches the module Conflict-sensitive journalism for radio and online media.

Research interests: human rights as a civil society phenomenon in professional journalism, media culture, media literacy, media hygiene, radio journalism.

Yulia Liubchenko

PhD in Social Communications, Associate Professor of the Journalism Chair, teaches the module Conflict-sensitive journalism for radio and online media.

Research interests: news journalism, fact checking, radio broadcasting, conflict-sensitive journalism.

Katerina Sirinyok-Dolgaryova

PhD in Social Communications, Associate Professor of the Journalism Chair, teaches the module Fact-checking and verification in media.

Research interests: international journalism, European Studies, English-language media, online media, media literacy, journalism education, research and education management.

Olena Usmanova

PhD in Philology, Associate Professor of the Journalism Chair, teaches the module European Journalism Standards: Historical Roots and Current Challenges.

Research interests: history of journalism, political writing, news literacy, gender equality.

Iurii Kostiuk

Olena Tupakhina
